VITA program recruiting volunteers

The volunteer income tax assistance program (VITA) is recruiting volunteers to be trained to prepare taxes free of charge for taxpayers with a household income of $51,000 or less. Great opportunity to impact your community, learn a new skill or use your existing tax preparation skills to assist families and individuals in the community.
No previous experience required
Learn a skill that you will use for yourself for a lifetime
Gain experience through volunteering
Training online and supplemented with partner instructions
Receive IRS-certification to prepare volunteer tax returns (this is not the Registered Tax Professional Certification)
Flexible hours to volunteer
