The United Way of Southwest Alabama is accepting applications for its 2014-2015 funding cycle. Any 501(c)(3) health & human services agency wishing to learn how to apply for United Way partnership and possible funding for 2014 & 2015 must attend one of the training sessions listed below. Agencies & volunteers in Mobile, Clarke & Washington counties can attend any of the training locations. All agencies applying for partnership with United Way must serve at least one of United Way's impact areas of education, health, financial stability or basic life essentials in Mobile, Washington and/or Clarke counties.

Friday October 26, 2012 – Alabama Gulf Coast Chapter American Red Cross - 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Monday October 29, 2012 – Via! Health and Fitness Enrichment Center - 10:00 a.m. Until 12:00 & 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday October 30, 2012 – Hancock Bank (Formerly Whitney Bank on Beltline Highway)
8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. & 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon
Thursday November 1, 2012 – Clarke County – First United Methodist Church, Jackson, AL - 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Thursday November 1, 2012 – Washington County – Washington County Library, Chatom, AL - 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
The United Way of Southwest Alabama also needs volunteers to review all partnership applications. Any volunteer interested in reviewing partnership applications must attend one of the training sessions listed below.

Monday November 12, 2012 – Clarke County - Clarke Washington Electric- Co-op– Jackson, AL - 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Monday November 12, 2012 – Washington County - Washington County Library – Chatom, AL - 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
